Shawn Mott, founder of Chaparral Corporation, got his first horse, a mustang, when he was 10 years old and has been riding and working with horses ever since.
With over 35 years of experience, he has taught thousands of people how to ride safely. He also specializes in colt foundation training and "putting people back together" with horses who have developed behavioral problems.
Shawn lives on the Chaparral property and personally supervises the barn and ranch operations.
Just a quick note of thanks for the time my boys and nieces enjoyed at the ranch this week. I dropped all four off with no idea of how things would play out and picked up four very happy ranch hands! They had an absolute blast! They couldn’t wait to show off “their” horses and tell me all about the day and all the fun they had.
